Try before you buy: our trampolines at the Ideal Home Show 2026

Buying a trampoline online can feel like a leap of faith. Will it feel sturdy? Is the net strong enough? Will the children actually love it, or will it sit unused by the summer? So from 10 to 19 April 2026, we took our trampolines to the Ideal Home Show at Olympia London, and let families find out for themselves.

What was on our stand

• A Salta Royal Baseground inground trampoline, set level with the floor, so even the youngest jumpers could step straight on. See the Salta range.

Children tested the fun. Parents tested everything else.

The best part of the show was watching families try our trampolines together. Children headed straight for the mat, while parents tested the sturdiness of the frame, checked the safety net and padding, and asked us the questions every parent asks: how much space does it need, how long does it take to build, and how will it cope with a British winter?

Seeing a trampoline in person, and feeling the quality for yourself, makes a big difference. Visitors could order on the stand, with a show-only offer and next-day delivery, so the trampoline their children had just tried could be in their own garden the next day.

A few familiar faces

We also met Nick Knowles, whose DIY SOS team we joined for the 2025 Children in Need build at The Joshua Tree, where we fitted a Salta inground trampoline in the charity's new play area. You can read more about the build. Martin Lewis was at the show too, and it was great to say hello.
